Abstract: Hamiltonian actions of infinite dimensional groups are of importance in field theory, and in particular in gauge theory. In this series of talks, we will consider examples of Hamiltonian actions of loop groups and of diffeomorphisms of the circle. The outline of the program is as follows.
Lecture 3：We will address the theory of Hamiltonian actions of the central extension of group of diffeomorphisms of the circle motivated by recent advances in Jackiw-Teitelboim 2-dimensional gravity.
报告人简介：Alekseev教授是数学物理、辛几何与李理论领域国际著名专家，是2014年国际数学家大会（ICM）邀请报告人，以及2021年国际数学物理大会 Co-Chair of Organizing Commitee,并担任欧洲数学会杂志（Journal of the European Mathematical Society）主编和其他一些知名SCI杂志的编辑。他获得多项国际奖项，例如第一届The Medal of the Erwin Schrödinger Institute for Mathematics and Physics。Alekseev教授完成100多篇论文，大部分发表于有国际声誉的期刊，包括Ann. of Math, Invent. Math. (4篇), Publ. Math. IHES, Duke Mathe J.(4篇), Comm. Math. Physics (14篇)等。他获得过多项重大基金的资助，并从2014年起，成为Deputy Director of the National Centre of Competence in Research SwissMap (由瑞士自然科学基金资助的瑞士数学物理联盟) and Co-Director of the SwissMAP Research Station (SRS).
