The Fifth Bath-Beijing-Paris meeting
Peking Univeristy, 14-18 May 2018
The Fifth event in the series will be held at the Peking University in Beijing.
The talks will take place in the
Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research (BICMR), located in the beautiful campus of Peking University.
Venue:Lecture Hall, Jiayibing Building, Jingchunyuan 82, BICMR
The Hotel:
Invited participants will stay in No.9 building of "Zhong Guan Xin Yuan" Hotel. By default, rooms
have been booked for the arrival on May 13 and departure on May 19. The hotel is across the street of Peking
University Campus, about 10-15 minutes' walk to BICMR.

From the Airport to the Hotel:
The most convenient way to get the hotel from the airport is to take a taxi.
It costs about RMB 120 yuans. You are also responsible to pay the toll of 10 yuans. So you need some pocket
money. A possible way to get cash is to find an ATM in the lobby of the airport. You may print this slip and
show it to the taxi driver.
From the Hotel to the conference venue:
A local people will be in the lobby of the Hotel by 8:30 am Monday, May 14 to escort participants from
the hotel to the conference venue. You will be on your own all other trips and you will need to show your name card
of the symposium as a temporary permit to the campus.
Food and Meal:
(1) Breakfast will be served in the Hotel.
(2) From Monday to Friday, lunches (Buffet) will be served on campus.
(3) There is a banquet at 7:00pm, May 17 (Thursday). All invited participants are invited to attend.
(4) Dinner is not offered by the conference, except on May 17 (Banquet). There is a plenty of cafeterias and
restaurants outside the west gate of Peking University (the main campus). There two restaurants at the Zhongguanyuan Global Village, where
you are living.
(5) You may try to go to the center of Beijing to find good restraunts with friends.
I would suggest a nearby restaurant: Quan Ju De for Peking Duck near Tsinghua
Science Park. 200yuans per person, strongly recommended, Phone: 82150018 or 82151015.
GMAIL account:
Gmail account is NOT accessible in China. If you get used to gmail account, please prepare for
an alternative email account. Google, Tweeter, Facebook, Youtube etc are not available.
Warning:
Watch out for cars! Do not expect cars to stop for you even you are on a zebra crossing!
Tap water can be used to brush teeth, but it is not supposed to be potable!
Public toilets usually do not provide free toilet paper! Carry your own!
